Although there are plenty of relaxing ways to spend your time, it’s actually a hotspot for all kinds of business ventures, from finance to hospitality and everything in between. So, you may find ways to expand your business.
If you prefer to spend your spare time being more active, there are plenty of options, such as hiking up the Koko Crater Railway Trail or kayaking in Oahu. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, there are plenty of possibilities to choose from, whether you prefer to try different foods or stick to old favourites. Bagan, Myanmar
Bagan, located in Myanmar, is rich in history. It has the perfect combination of beautiful landscapes and temples and modern hotels. If you can drag yourself away from the views long enough to get any work done, you may find these a lot more inspiring than the four walls of a home office or your business premises.

Paris, France
If you prefer somewhere a little more familiar, Paris is a firm favourite for finding inspiration. Even if you’ve never been, you might feel like you have, as it’s portrayed so often in movies and books. A working holiday here could be filled with art, atmospheric walks, and historic landmarks. For those of you who are always networking, you might discover new and exciting opportunities to work with new clients and expand what your business offers.
You could even combine your stay with voluntary work, which not only helps others and gains experience for you, but is great publicity for your business and stands out on your portfolio.
With so much inspiration, Paris can be the perfect place to spend time working, if you’re self-employed and need something to liven up your work life, but have little travel experience. You can have the tourist experience, or delve a little deeper and create varied experiences, potentially making new contacts for your business.

The most northern, and least developed island of the Japanese archipelago, the simplicity of Hokkaido’s offering defines its appeal. Head to the island for a remote working experience like no other as here you can truly immerse yourself in authentic Japanese culture.
